I was at Montréal ComicCon last weekend with Front Froid, I don't have any pics yet due to phone technical difficulties, but here are a few sketchbook drawings I did during the show, or on the subway.

It's always summer under the sea...

Because Game of Thrones is back, I decided to draw another of my favorites from the books that were cut from the HBO show. Here is Patchface, Stanis Baratheon's creepy jester. He is a fool that was purchased by Lord Steffon Baratheon (King Robert's father) from the free city of Voltanis to entertain his children. However, one the voyage home, the ship was lost at sea and Patchface was the only survivor. This experience left him insane and difformed, Most of what he says isn't really understood by Stanis's court, but his ramblings are often prophetic in nature.  In the books,he is Shireen's best friend.

 Maintenant que le livre est officiellement publié, voici un extrai de la bande dessinée que j'ai publié chez Front Froid dans leur collectif Le Front 8. Il y a un total de 6 histoires courtes par des auteurs de bandes dessinées québecois.

Now that the book is officially published, here is sample of the comic that I published with Front Froid in a collective album called "Le Front 8" It features 6 short stories from various artists from Québec.

Some kind of ghost

This is the final version of a character from a comic that will be published in less than a month. (there is an old sketch of her in my older posts as well) She is a member of a crew of explorers who try in settle on what they believe to be an unpopulated island.  I will post more info about this soon.

Gogo- Final Fantasy 6

I drew Gogo from ff6 just for fun! I think this character design has had a huge influence on me when I was young - J'ai dessiné Gogo de ff6 just pour m'amuser. Je pense que le design de ce personnage m'a influencé beaucoup quand j'étais plus jeune.

I don't have as much time as I used to to draw people from observation, but I managed to make a few today.

Circus monsters + various

It's been a while since I updated. I have been busy with other art projects (more info on that to come ) so I havn't been keeping a sketchbook as much lately. Here are a few new ones.

First, a page of clown/circus themes monsters

 Next: a profile of a goblin with a big wart on his nose :P

 And finally, a warrior with a scimitar.

 

I will start updating the blog more often since I finished my other project so I will have a bit more time to keep a regular sketchbook.
